Adam and Eve -- and prizes

I've been working away on Paradise Lost.  I'm still loving it too.  Here's my latest progress.

I just love this piece so much!  You probably know it's by Plum Street Samplers.  I'm using 40ct vintage Light Examplar with the called for fibers.

And speaking of Adam and Eve, I just received my new Adam and Eve set from Tanya of the Scarlett House.   I love it!

And yes, Tanya, I do love Eve's little bitty boobs!  lol!  Thank you!

I've won a few prizes the past few months, but haven't shown them off yet.  First, I won a needle punch kit with a new design from With Thy Needle and Thread.   Not only did I get the pattern with the design predrawn on the fabric, but Brenda also sent me the threads to punch with!

I didn't realize until recently that Brenda is related to Sandy Gervais of quilting fame.  What a talented bunch!  Thank you, Brenda, for my prize!  Now all I have to do is learn how to needle punch.  :D

Barbara of Mainely Stitching recently had a giveaway, and I won this chart.  Thank you, Barbara!

And finally, Jolene of Dip Diddly Designs has been having a spectacular series of Halloween giveaways on her blog.  And I won one of the prizes!   This is what I received -- a chart with the fibers required to stitch it, a cute little Halloween towel, and a nice Halloween card.  Thank you Jolene!

Jolene's last giveaway is still going on so you should head on over.  It's pretty amazing!

In other news, the girl child is home for her midterm break.  She's been so busy at college that we really haven't heard much from her so far this term.  It'll be nice to have her at home for a week.  Perhaps she'll catch up on her sleep.  lol!

Well, I hope you all have a great Halloween.  Thanks for stopping by!

I think that I have to ask the same question as above....Do you stitch in your sleep Margaret? I can't believe how much progress you've made on this. And I love it.

Ah, you bought that set from Tanya. I had missed the post and then came across it scrolling down to see what I missed and I saw those. I need them to add to my collection soon!

Congratulations on winning all those goodies. All look like they're going to be a lot of fun to work on.

And have fun catching up with your daughter while she's home!

Wow, Margaret! I wish I could just get a fraction of the stitching you do done. Your PL looks fantastic! I finally broke down and ordered it! lol It makes me smile and I think the A&E in it looks very 60's retro...maybe it's just me! :)
Lovely set from Tanya. And congratulations on your good luck streak!

I'll be doing my "de basura a tresoro" throughout November...I know you liked that idea with my butterflies. :)

And I think I stitch fast!! Smokin' needles in your house!! Just love this Paradise Lost, it is so nice and colorful, and out of the norm for and A & E sampler!! Fabulous prizes you got! Looks like Christmas came early. You commented on the floss system, and the NPI. I just take off the yellow wrapper, and untwist it into 1 large loop, then wrap it onto the tiny plastic holder. I do not like to cut my threads until I am ready to use it. You should definately give it a try, you wont be disappointed. Let me know if you want to see more pics! Keep up the great job on PL!!

What wonderful progress on PL--I agree with Littlebit's comment about stitching in your sleep.

Lovely prizes, too, and doesn't Tanya paint the best goodies?

Enjoy your kids, and I know what you mean about worries about the 'flu--I'm not worried about being sick as much as I'm concerned about everything I need to get done. There's no time to be sick! May it skip your household!
