Hmm. I need to take a more recent picture. I have the tree between Adam and Eve all finished. Oh well.
I finally blocked the Pioneer Girl Shawl by Susan B. Anderson. The only time I showed it before, it was just a WIP on the needles. Here it is on the blocking mats.
It's amazing what blocking does for lacework!
I also took a pic of my Stopover on -- it does fit! Whew!
And I tried on my Flying Geese Cowl too. See how it matches my winter coat?
(Yes, that's Dutch Beauty behind me in the picture.)
I was in the mood for knitting, but couldn't settle on a project. I've decided I'm a definite sweater knitter when I can find what I want to work on. Well, I finally settled on Ondawa, another pattern by Michele Wang through Brooklyn Tweed. I've loved this one forever, just like Rowe! I'm using Brooklyn Tweed Shelter in the Barn Owl color. Did a swatch, and I have now finished the bottom ribbing section and am ready to start the main body of the sweater (front or back).
So exciting! I'm enjoying this knit a lot.
The weather around here has been crazy. For Valentine's Day it was freezing! Minus temps at night and single digits during the day, windy, blustery and just plain toooo cold! This past weekend, it was in the upper 50s to 60 degrees! Wha??? But I'll take it! I'm not one of those people who longs for snow. I should live somewhere where it doesn't snow or do any other of those nasty forms of precipitation. I'm hoping Spring is on the way!
Mia prefers the warmth too.
And a good amount of sunshine!
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. I hope everyone has a great week!
